TSA ConfirmID Program Fee
About this form
Use this form to pay for the TSA ConfirmID Fee when an air traveler 18 or older has lost or does not have an acceptable form of identification to present at the TSA checkpoint.
Dont have a Real ID or acceptable ID? TSA may be able to help.
If you are unable to provide the required acceptable ID, such as a passport or REAL ID, you can pay a $45 fee to use TSA ConfirmID. TSA will then attempt to verify your identity so you can go through security; however, there is no guarantee TSA can do so.
Please note: Using TSA ConfirmID is optional. If you choose not to use it and don't have an acceptable ID, you may not be allowed through security and may miss your flight. Fraud or other criminal activity regarding this process will be processed under federal penalties.
Who should fill out this form?
- Travelers 18 and older who do not have a REAL ID, valid passport or another acceptable ID may use TSA ConfirmID. Children under 18 do not need ID for domestic flights. If a child is flying alone and has TSA PreCheck, they will need an acceptable ID to receive Precheck screening. Check with your airline for their own policies regarding unaccompanied minors.
- Each traveler 18 or older without an acceptable ID must complete the TSA ConfirmID process separately.
What do you need to pay for access to TSA ConfirmID?
- Travelers legal name (Note: someone other than the traveler may make the payment, but the travelers information must be entered correctly)
- Travelers start date (the payment is valid for 10 days from the date entered)
- A valid bank account (ACH), debit card, credit card, Venmo, or PayPal to pay the $45 fee.
Important:
- TSA ConfirmID payment is valid for 10 days from the Travel Start Date entered during the payment process. If you travel after the 10-day expiration date, you must pay the fee again
- Double check your information and email before you submit. You will receive a receipt by email from Pay.gov
- Bring the printed or electronic copy of your TSA ConfirmID payment receipt to show at the TSA checkpoint each time you travel without an acceptable ID during the 10-day period.
