Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA1 and ERA2) Return of Funds ACH Credit
About this form
This site will process grant funds returns to the U.S. Department of the Treasury for the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Programs (ERA1 and ERA2) that were unable to be obligated and expensed by the end of the Period of Performance.
Before you begin, be sure to have the information from the applicable ERA program (ERA1 or ERA2) you need to fill out the required fields. You will need the entity name, applicable FAIN or (if you received a demand letter) Debt Invoice Number and amount to be returned to Treasury in order to successfully submit the request.
ACH Credit transactions must be initiated by your financial institution. After submitted a Pay.gov payment, print the payment confirmation including the ACH Credit Instructions and submit to your financial institution for payment. Please ensure the Identification Number field in the payment includes the Pay.gov Tracking ID provided in the payment confirmation ACH Credit Instructions. If it is missing, it will cause the automatic return of your transaction.
