The bill's status is included in the summary information in your My Bills Pending and Completed tabs.
New — a new bill needing to be paid.
Submitted — you completed the payment on Pay.gov but it has not yet been processed.
Accepted — your payment request was accepted for processing by the bank or credit card processor; if funds or credit are available your payment is completed.
Retired — the bill is no longer active and you cannot pay it; the due date may have passed or it was replaced with a new bill.
