Declined eBill Payments

If your ebill payment using one of the following has been declined

Pay.gov shows a message stating that the payment was declined instead of showing a payment confirmation (receipt).

You may be able to make the payment using a different source (different card, bank account, etc.)

You were signed in

  1. Click the My Account link at the top of the page.

  2. Click the View My Bills button.

  3. Click the Pending tab.

  4. Find and open the ebill.

  5. Make your payment using a different payment source or method.

You were not signed in.

  1. Click Make A Payment at the top of a Pay.gov page.

  2. Click the Enter Access Code button.

  3. Enter the ebill's access code.

  4. Click the Submit button.

  5. Answer the security question.

  6. Click the Submit button.

  7. Make your payment using a different payment source or method.
